As the Head Chef of the venue, no two days will be alike and offering both creativity and challenge. Working in a larger group, you will have support to succeed in this role.
The Group/Venue
A Hotel, Club or Large volume background in Modern Australian/ Mediterranean cuisines would be ideal but very open to backgrounds across different venue types & cuisines.
The Role
With an established team of amazing chefs already your main focus will be leadership & continued development of the team, controlling financial performance & driving this great operation to new creative heights.
You
To be successful in your application, you will have:
- Extensive A la carte experience & ability to execute a Modern Australian/ Mediterranean menu, with a love for seafood/ proteins & creativity.
- Strong abilities in training, mentoring and developing teams
- Have experience in large and busy environments with a multi outlet and functions offering.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Passion for creating quality and consistency in every plate put out
- Overall knowledge of operational & financial knowledge
- The desire to grow and develop your career
- Function/ event experience is a bonus
- Desire to create & work in a collaborative team
