Yamaha Motor Finance is seeking a Collections Officer to join our successful finance business.
We require a committed individual with a sound collections background and previous experience in both inbound and outbound collection environment.

Key responsibilities of the role:
- Managing consumer and commercial asset backed delinquent contracts that are 1- 180 days in arrears across AUS & NZ.
- Adhere to targets, KPI’s and SLA’s.
- Issue default notices and repossessions as required.
- Build rapport with customers to negotiate payments.
- Monitor arrangements and bring overdue contracts up to date.
- Identify hardship triggers and offer assistance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify and investigate customer expressions of dissatisfaction.
- Perform skip tracing to locate customers.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (mercantile agents, lawyers etc).
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- Previous Collections and skip tracing experience desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex information in a simple manner.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of the compliance obligations and applicable legislations.
- Ability to work on a rotating roster Monday till Friday, operating hours from 8am till 6pm.
