Collections Officer

Working within our Customer Operations team, the Collections Support Officer is responsible for making and receiving outbound/ inbound calls, accurately maintaining customer accounts, and having exposure to the end to end customer process. The focus is on ensuring consumer and regulatory protections are met whilst creating positive outcomes by negotiating flexible repayment solutions to suit our customer’s circumstances.

You’ll also need to respond to customer enquiries effectively resolving their queries with discretion and reliability. We need you to be collaborative and communicative within the team and provide suggestions for process improvement.

What will you bring to the role?

• Previous collections or call centre experience (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Basic computer literacy skills
• The ability to adapt to change
