Our client is a specialty distributor offering a unique product range within the FMCG industry. They are regarded as a market leader within their sector and with their continued growth and popularity, they are seeking a motivated individual to join the team working as a Commercial Accountant. You'll be required to support with month-end processing, financial reporting and also assist with analysis, budgeting, project and systems improvement work.
This is a broad role with clear career progression and aspects of business partnering. The ideal candidate will possess great communication skills, business acumen and be a logical thinker.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the team with month-end and year-end processes including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review and actual vs budget analysis.
- Applying commercial acumen to prioritise areas for further analysis to identify opportunities or mitigate risk.
- Business partnering with other teams across the company to provide insightful analysis of operations, implement cost saving and efficiency projects.
- Assisting with the annual budgeting process including reforecasts.
- Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to support business operations.

- 3-5 years' experience working in business services will be highly regarded
- CA/CPA qualified or near completion
