They are in a position to bring on board a Compliance Manager who ideally is based in the south eastern area of South Australia.
About the role
As the Compliance Manager you will lead a team in delivering and implementing health, safety, environment, and compliance regulations across the business. This will involve contributing to existing systems but also implementing them to drive continuous improvement on a variety of sites.
To be successful in the position you will offer expert guidance and direction to foster a positive culture which will include establishing, fostering and maintaining relationships with managers, employees and contractors. By doing this you will be effective in ensuring the company meets its compliance obligations, identifies, and effectively manages risks, and optimizes key objectives.
Skills and experience
- 8-10 years’ experience within a similar role in manufacturing
- Highly developed leadership skills.
- Familiarity with the creation of Safety, Environmental, and compliance plans.
- Ability to identify compliance issues that require investigation.
- Demonstrate initiative when collaborating with all areas of the organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
