COMPLIANCE SUPPORT OFFICER

Kinda-Mindi Early Learning Centres are a family-owned and operated group of early childhood education and care centres located across Sydney.

We are looking for an outgoing, self-motivated community engagement coordinator with the ability to drive occupancy and growth for the organisation. The right person will work collaboratively with our management team to drive strategic internal and external campaigns.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Compliance Support Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all Kinda-Mindi services operate in accordance with ECEC regulatory requirements and safety standards.

The role can be full time or part time, at least 3-4 days per week. These days/hours are flexible and can be designed to suit the right candidate. You will be reporting to the Approved Provider, however you will work alongside other members of the Support Team and Centre Directors. The role is onsite within our Support Office that is located in Castle Hill, with regular service visits required. It will include a range of tasks, including:

  • Ensure organisational compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Managing organisational policy development and review processes.
  • Overseeing the organisations work health and safety policies and practices, including regular auditing and reports.
  • Development, implement and review organisation-wide stakeholder feedback and evaluation protocols.
  • Organisational and service-specific risk management processes.
  • Work alongside the HR Manager in completing regular workforce audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to services in ECEC regulatory compliance.
ABOUT YOU

You will have extensive knowledge and understanding of the ECEC sector, regulatory frameworks, and service operations. This is an essential component of the role. Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor or Area Manager would be suitable.

You will have exceptional written skills and a keen eye for detail.

Your interpersonal skills will be strong, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of people.

You may be a parent, looking to re-enter the workforce on flexible terms.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Strong knowledge of, and experience in, early childhood education and care services.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced role.
  • Ability to work autonomously, establishing task priorities from multiple departments.
