Construction administrator required for Gold Coast based company

Your new role
- General Workflow Management.
- Monitor construction workflows, identifying schedule gaps and diligently ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee project scheduling, prioritising tasks to optimise project timelines and resource allocation.
- Proactively track and follow up on stage claim dates on a weekly basis, collaborating closely with site supervisors.
- Generating Construction and Executive Reports.
- Dispute resolution and addressing contract-related concerns.
- Assist supervisors with scheduling bricklayers, carpenters, painters, tilers, landscapers - Issuing of work releases.
- Coordinating Third Party Defect Inspections and Owner Inspections
- Obtain and review all defect inspection reports - K-Spec / Third Parties.
- Schedule re-inspections upon receipt of a signed report confirming all defects have been rectified.
- Follow up with supervisors and applicable trades to get photos of outstanding items, so they can be submitted to obtain a clear report for both K-Spec and Third-Party companies.
- Providing clients and marketers with updates and photos on outstanding defects from third party inspections (If Applicable).
- Liaising with Supervisors to make sure properties are ready for handover and ensuring there are no outstanding defects - Checklist is completed, and handover photos received.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (Construction background)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Preferred experience with On-Site Companion.
- The ability to work proactively within a team and assist other departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a good phone manner.
