About the role
As a result of continual growth, the Northeast Auto Group have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, self-driven Construction &/or Agriculture Equipment Sales Consultant to join the team at our head operations site in Burton.
You will be working with reputable brands in a team environment where you are well supported, and success is celebrated. You will be a key contact for our Construction &/or Agriculture Equipment Sales customers, providing high levels of service to ensure customer satisfaction. Your role will be to provide an engaging and personalized sales experience and to ensure our customers return to us time and time again.
Day to day you will:
- Understand customer objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making processes
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the machines and vehicles in our inventory and at associated dealerships
- Build long-term business partnerships with customers to leverage future purchases
- Exceed customer needs through personalized advice and service
- Identify and secure new business through proactive cold calling, referrals, and competitor analysis
- Achieve dealership profit and sales objectives
- Collaborate with various departments to maximize overall profitability
- Stay updated on market trends and effectively utilize online sales and marketing tools
- Maintain accurate and compelling vehicle listings on automotive retail websites
- Provide exceptional customer service at all stages of the sales process
What we are looking for

We are looking for you to bring:

- Experience in a similar sales role, ideally within the Construction &/or Agriculture Equipment industry
- Enthusiasm, excellent listening skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication
- The ability to understand customer needs and build rapport at all levels
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets, preferably in a dealership setting
- Proficiency in managing online sales and marketing, including lead management tools
- Familiarity with automotive retail websites and staying updated on market trends
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills
