About the role

We have a full-time, permanent position available to join our team in Melbourne as a Content & Communications Coordinator. Reporting to the Social Media & Content Lead, this role will assist in developing digital content and social media activity to achieve the firms content strategy goals and increasing engagement. This role will see you build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the firm and with external agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with firm-wide digital content strategy and manage content campaigns for paid, owned and earned channels
• Create and update content on the firm’s website, blog, social platforms and EDMs in line with content marketing, media and SEO strategies
• Coordinate social media and marketing content calendar, including all digital content activity to ensure timely updates to all content channels
• Write and edit content as required for firm’s digital channels
• Shoot and edit video and photos as required for online content
• Assist with briefs for agencies for content development
• Assist with executing on the social media strategy
• Execute social media activities – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat
• Prepare and source content for firm’s website blog and partner union channels
• Ensure alignment with traditional advertising activities to ensure maximum campaign reach
• Prepare and analyse performance reports and develop insights to ensure ongoing optimisation of digital content and social media platforms

The experience we are looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or related field
• Relevant marketing experience
• Knowledge of digital content strategies and platforms
• Copywriting/editing skills
• Understanding of digital analytics
• Proficiency with websites, social media, EDMs, native advertising and content amplification
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is highly desirable
• Solid communication and time management skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
• Relationship building, negotiation and business development skills
