The company now seeks a commercial construction administrator / project manager to further support the growth of the company and become a long-term member of our team.
Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for;
Managing and Administration of projects from a successful tender through to project completion
Responsibility for ensuring all objectives in regard to project scope, program, cost, quality, risk management, communication, human resource management, procurement, health and safety, environment, budgets, letting of packages, creating scope of works, help with estimating variations and negotiating with sub-contractors and the client.
The company operates management systems under the AS 4801, 9001, 14001 and the Federal Safety Commission WHS standard which are the highest possible occupational health and safety standards on Australian building and construction projects.
Profile
- The successful applicant will ideally possess the following
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Project Management,
- Track record with achieving projects within budget and time restraints.
- Pro-active attitude, strong financial acumen, communication and negotiation skills.
- Leadership and organisation of construction projects.
- Good references
- Excellent computer skills
- Team Player and ability to work in a team environment.
- Time management skills
- Decision making skills and ability.
- Problem solving skills and ability.
Experience
The applicant will ideally have experienced all aspect of Administration of commercial projects including;
- Commercial project management in Melbourne CBD
- Administration of commercial projects
- Program, cost and document control
- Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes and procurement schedules
- Liaise with authorities for issue of Compliance Certificates, Council Permits
- Documentation control including with AS/NZS ISO 45001:2018, AS 9001, AS 14001 and the Federal Safety Commission WHS
