Talent Street is on the lookout for a Contract Manager who has previously worked within ICT project, program and/or PMO environments. The role will work closely with program leaders, project managers, and external vendors and partners.
Through exceptional contract management, your key responsibilities will be:
• Draft, review negotiate and performance monitoring of vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, procurement, finance, and operations teams, to ensure contracts comply with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct reviews of contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities, and propose appropriate amendments or modifications as needed.
• Manage contract databases and documentation, tracking contract expiration dates, renewal options, and key milestones.
• Coordinate contract performance monitoring with key program stakeholders and administer associated milestone-based payments or penalties.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual inquiries and disputes and facilitate resolution.
• Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations and address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of contractual terms and resolution of disputes.
• Manage and mentor one or more Contract Analysts.
We are keen to hear from candidates who possess the following:
• Demonstrated experience working in a program, portfolio or PMO environment managing vendor and partner contracts, with a specific emphasis on ICT contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and negotiate favourable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple contracts simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
