ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Client, a Tier 1 Iron Ore Producer based in the Pilbara, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Contractor Management System Advisor to join their Pilbara based operations around Greater Brockman region.
Working within the Resource Development Team, you will be reporting to the Principal Operations, undertaking advisory duties for projects across Earthworks/Rehab arena to ensure their assets run smoothly and efficiently.
Utilising strong leadership & earthworks background, this role will play a pivotal part in the delivery of site projects in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- 8/6 roster only, up to 12 hour days, (mostly days; night shifts on occasion to suit project requirements)
- Initial 8 month requirement, with a strong possibility of an extension for the right person
- 11% super paid on all hours

- Strong leadership and coaching of the contracting partner to ensure alignment with the delivery model inclusive of safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with the Contractor Management System (CMS).
- CMS Activities - Issue of Permits, review/develop and the endorsement of the Contractor partners JHA’s & SWPs.
- Develop & maintain a timely delivery process for CMS permit issuing & risk assessment document review across the delivery packages.
- Ensure accurate information is captured in the project reports (daily and weekly report and handovers notes etc).
- Coach and mentor, our Contractor partners in our client's tier one systems and processes.
- Conduct regular reviews of Project documentation – HSE, CMS, Training Matrix, registers & folder structure.
- Undertake quality Leadership in the Field interactions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal/ external area owners, stakeholders and collaborating partners.

To be successfully considered for this role:
- Exposure to our tier one client's processes and systems is advantageous (particularly in RTIO Contractor Management System).
- Experience managing contractors for large Tier 1 Client
- Experience with Mining Production/Earthworks/Rehabilitation in an Advisory role an advantage over general Construction exp

- Minimum 4-5 years Mining/Fixed Plant/Industrial Exp
- CMS Advisory Experience; ideally within earthworks/rehab
- National Police Clearance (within 3 months)
- Minimum C Class (unrestricted) license
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical & LABDAS
- RTIO Inductions (Adv)
