This Northern-suburbs Government organisation has an opportunity for a Contracts and Procurement Officer to join their operational procurement team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

Within this position, you will be responsible for the provision of advice on procurement and contractual matters to key stakeholders both internally and externally. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all transactions are compliant with organisation procurement policy
• Administer tender and contract procedures
• Preparation for reports for Executive Management
• Monitor contract performance evaluation
• Oversee tender submission evaluation and prepare corresponding reports

What you’ll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will have substantial experience in and knowledge of tendering processes and contract administration of a wide range of goods and services. You will also be required to have excellent time management and communication skills.
