About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Coordinator Fleet and Services to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the overall management of the workshop, store and depot yard, for carrying out the maintenance, repair and servicing of Council's plant and equipment. Seek opportunities to utilise technology to increase productivity, communication and reporting. Development and implementation of our fleet replacement strategy and leading the procurement process and providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
Appropriate tertiary qualification and/or extensive job related experience in an appropriate field
Ability to manage the human resource, financial, program and project aspects of your functional areas
Demonstrated skills and experience to provide motivation, leadership and mentoring
Good computer skills and high level organisational skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet time tight deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated, dependable and a team player
Current Class C drivers licence
