Qualifications & experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with Industry knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of the operational tasks and procedures involved in domestic Transport Freight.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A good working knowledge of MS office including Excel.
- Have the ability to negotiate with clients and sub-contractors.
- Ability to work with Apple MAC products.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Arranging transport by air, sea, rail and road. Planning the best options for the client and cargo requirements.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers, to ensure the smooth execution of domestic cargo.
- Proactively resolve issues on behalf of clients and be able to apply problem-solving techniques on a daily basis.
- Arrange quoting.
- Working with and assisting other areas of the operation where possibleDemonstrates a willingness to work flexible hours on the occasions required.
- Build strong relationships with customers, partners and suppliers.
