UGL are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our site based team in Kwinana.
We are excited to be supporting multiple projects to upgrade and convert existing infrastructure in an old refinery into a new energy hub. Subject to internal and Government approvals, the new hub plans to produce and supply renewable fuels and energy products to support our net zero ambitions.
About the role
- Complete month-end billing and schedule of rates billing in SAP
- Manage cost control, invoicing and debtor recovery activities for site
- Liaise with operations to maintain forecasts and challenge costs
- Follow up on any missing hours/discrepancies with Payroll, Site Leads and employees when required
- Develop and maintain reports
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in equivalent Administrative, Cost, HR or Payroll roles
- Skilled practitioner in SAP, advanced skills in MS Office suite, including Excel and MS Word
- Working awareness of Procurement and Finance activities including requisition, purchase order creation, cost reporting, goods receipting and general financial awareness
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
