DLL CPI Product Manager (APAC OPX)

The DLL CPI Product Manager is responsible for owning and managing "Process Improvement" and "Process Management" in line with the APMO at both the Country (ANZ) and Regional (APAC) levels.

Reporting to the APAC Transformation Manager, this role relies on the successful management, organisation, and prioritization of both process enhancement, process engineering and change readiness across the process management landscape within Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and Singapore.

A key emphasis of the role with be to ensure that a successful alignment and management of the product line is established within the APMO and that all areas of Process Management are supported throughout the various Squads and teams. That is: Process Risk, Process Stability, Process Quality, Process Improvement and optimization, Simplified Lean Operations, Process Cost Reduction and Business Process Capability.

In addition, the role provides the APMO with a renewed emphasis on change management by supporting and acting as a change leader, and as a long arm of the APMO team, together with IT, OpX and the business teams. Coaching and sharing of Lean Six Sigma paradigms and principles across the business and project landscape is key and will be a critical component in fostering, driving and developing a Continuous Improvement High-Performance Environment.

Project preparation, stakeholder alignment, communications and steering of topics, training, usage and evaluation of tactical and strategic opportunities are all critical elements in building a strong product line and centre of excellence.

Day to day

  • Owns the CPI Product Area (APAC) in line with the product path.
  • Managing, coordinating, and steering the CPI & Process Management in line with the APMO.
  • Liaises with the APMO and all relevant internal and external parties to prioritise, coordinate and manage the facilitation of change efforts (provides input and / or materials for training, adoption, content, and context)
  • Executing and implementing of a regional standard in the execution of CPI and the evaluation of successful process design and improvement. Including leading of all Process Improvement and optimisation across the DLL APAC operational organisation
  • Manage Process documentation and documentation repository - established in line with Global Transformation team and process management standards (templating, content quality, versioning controls, tooling, etc)
  • Support Risk in the Management of ORI related process enhancements
  • Demonstrate best visual practices and lead Lean Six Sigma - Continuous Improvement change practices across the local & regional operations teams
  • Support the APAC Transformation Manager in leading and / or co-leading local, regional and / or global projects relating to Global OpX Strategy and Charter.
  • Manages and supports the tracking and development of Continuous Improvement through the reporting of sustainable improvements across the organisation
  • Supports business managers, teams, and staff through training & coaching in process improvement methodology and execution of Lean improvement methods
  • ANZ Innovation program lead - relating to Process Management, Process Improvement and Change at the Horizon 1 level. Contributes to innovation using Lean Six Sigma, Human Centred Design and Agile methodologies, benchmarking sustainable practices, visual techniques & methods and reporting to Innovation Group on improvements
  • Able to provide a full key project path / change course breakdown independently and is responsible for the development of the content in bringing members along in this path.
  • Responsible for developing proposals to optimize business process methodology, adoption, benchmarks, metrics, and visual techniques/ methods in line with best practices and DLL Global standards

  • Effect of OpX and Change Management methodologies for performing key improvement projects
  • Effect of Innovation across the business at Horizon 1 level and Horizon 2 levels
  • Quality and effect of member training and coaching within APMO 'Change' scope and Business 'Run' scope
  • Quality of advice and leadership on improvement paths within the key projects
  • Quality of the coordinating and coaching work in bringing APMO and the business together towards aligned & desired goals
  • Quality of ability to develop and design new strategies to support sustainable practices and improved performance
  • Quality in managing, tracking and prioritising outcomes across the business - being able to demonstrate and support value-add through CI and cost / waste reduction

Essentials

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification 1 A Practitioner - Green Belt
  • University Degree in Business Administration, and / or 5+ years of experience within Finance or Business Administration and be able to demonstrate a strong business acumen
  • A working understanding of Agile frameworks and practices and be able to demonstrate
  • 2+ years' experience in leading and managing change across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must have strong organizational and strong communication skills
  • Able to manage senior stakeholders at the level of Senior Manager and above. Also be able to manage and give guidance to change teams in the execution of projects
  • Can demonstrate the practices and principles of "process management": Process Risk, Process Stability and Quality, Process Improvement, Simplified Operations, Process cost reduction and business process capability
  • Have experience in developing process artefacts to support standardised ways of working and education across the organisation
  • Be able to coach, lead and mentor staff in process design, process improvement and process excellence.
  • Can demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of Human Centred Design (HCD)
