We are on the look-out for a motivated and drivenCredit Services Officer in a Permanent Full-Time position at Wattyl!
We offer a flexible working environment including ability to work from home and the office which is based in Norwest.
As the Credit Services Officer you will:
- Follow processes, credit policy and procedures as set for the Credit Services team.
- Assess credit risk in line with the credit policy, and as per delegation of authority. Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to minimize risk. Escalate as needed.
- Collection of debtor accounts through outbound calls (verbal/non-verbal) to achieve cash flow targets utilising collection procedures and policy guidelines.
- Accurate and timely allocation of receipts, clearing of open items in the banking functions as delegated by Credit Services Manager.
- Identify and initiate process improvement initiatives to increase service delivery to the business and reduce collection time.
In order to be considered you will have:
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a collections or credit role
- Experience in changing and complex business environment, focus on deliverables
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to build relationships
- Strong analytical skills and sound business logic.
- Strong focus on customer service 'Customer First' and process improvement
- Oracle ERP or similar system experience highly regarded
