YOUR Role:
Join an established, close-knit team as a Customer Service and Accounts Coordinator. This full-time position (Monday to Friday) primarily involves handling phone and email enquiries, processing quotes, supporting the sales team, and assisting the director with ad-hoc tasks. This role also encompasses handling accounts receivable and payable.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of phone and email inquiries
- Liaise with customers, transport providers, and stakeholders
- Demonstrate expertise in freight forwarding
- Assist operations with freight requests
- Maintain document flow between company departments
- Resolve emerging problems and conflicts
- Support sales and operations with administrative tasks
- Conduct data entry
- Accounts Payable/Receivable through accounting systems
- Provide administrative support to senior management
- Generate accurate quotes for customers
Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding or similar industry, coupled with 1-2 years in accounts payable/receivable exposure. Accurate data entry skills, and familiarity with document control processes are essential. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are a plus.
