The Role:
We're in search of an experienced Customer Service Representative to fortify our team at our Eagle Farm office. This full-time, permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly under the guidance of our Customer Service Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a rich background in International Freight Forwarding and a commitment to providing stellar Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage and service a diverse client portfolio, ensuring regular updates and reporting on shipment statuses
- Coordinate and oversee shipments across all origins and transport modes
- Handle purchase orders and maintain customer rates & quotations
- Facilitate the onboarding of new customers and act as the primary point of contact for enquiries, feedback, and claims, ensuring prompt and accurate follow-ups
- Participate in client visits and meetings, fostering ongoing relationships
- Stay informed on company products and services to meet customer needs effectively
- Participate actively in our culture of feedback, sharing insights and ideas with peers, management, and the broader team
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in International Freight Forwarding, with 1-2 years in a similar Customer Service capacity
- Proficiency in CargoWise One is advantageous
- Comprehensive understanding of Australian Customs and Quarantine procedures
- Exceptional communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and offer innovative ideas and solutions
- Strong team player with a customer-centric approach, thriving in a dynamic environment and capable of working collaboratively with overseas agents
