Position Overview: As a Customer Service Representative specializing in freight forwarding security, you will be the frontline ambassador for Brinks Australia. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and secure transportation of goods, providing exceptional service to our valued clients every step of the way. From coordinating shipments to addressing inquiries and resolving issues, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The co-ordination of high value transportation, including imports, exports and domestic.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Brinks client base.
- Co-ordinate Brinks Branches/sub-contractors to perform shipments in accordance with Brinks procedures.
- The co-ordination of high value transportation, including imports, exports and domestic, often from start to finish.
- Work in an independent, responsible and reliable manner with a high attention to detail.
- Handle customer enquiries promptly, courteously and professionally, referring them to the Business Development Manager or Operations Supervisor if required.
- To maintain effective and responsive communication with Brinks depots, Branches and affiliates, both domestically and internationally.
- Assist other Customer Service staff as is necessary.
- Client Invoicing and Vendor Costing estimates.
- Ensure details of each shipment are obtained and recorded accurately in the operating system and maintain all documentation in One Drive share file.
- Identify and record any quality problems, and initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Co-ordinate all aspects of the secure transportation of valuables in accordance with Brinks Operating Procedures
- Report to Operations Supervisor any instances of circumstances where Brinks Operating Procedures are not adhered to.
- Cross train with other CS and perform as required.
- Develop an ongoing understanding of Brinks client’s business and operations.
