Customer Service/General Office Support

Location: Dandenong South

Full Time Position 

Within your new position your primary objective will be to build relationships with existing and new customers to strengthen the APTA Customer Service department.  Also, assist the Operations group in all aspects of customer-related processes and administrate the sales order procedure. Plus, schedule day to day deliveries in co-ordination with customer requirements and APTA warehouse schedule.

Responsibilities include (but not limited too):

• Sales Order entry and processing – administrate order entry, order review and order confirmation procedures.
• Reviewing of sales orders received and suggesting whether a suitable product can be sourced from inventory, or whether it is required to be made.
• Allocating stock in Syspro system ales Order requirement communication with internal APT departments, including production and logistics
• Liaise with production and provide relevant updates to customers.
• Sales Order communication to internal and external customers
• Sales Order maintenance including order details like ship-to-instructions, products, quantities, pricing, terms etc.
• Maintenance of the AOS
• Coordinate order shipping and invoice sales orders and freight charges.
• Build relationships with existing customers to strengthen APT customer service department.
• Provide technical support to customers and suggest suitable products to fill orders based on knowledge and understanding of APT products.
• Request bookings for large loads and shipping containers.
• Manage and raise DG documents.
• Liaise with factory teams to ensure all orders are dispatched in full, on time.
• Provide training to new customer service staff and provide ongoing support.
• Reception coverage
• Assist in annual stock take entry and investigations.
• General office duties

Who you are:

• Understanding of customer related processes 
• Understanding of Syspro software package or similar (training to be provided) 
• A good team player
• Strong skills in relationship building.
• Microsoft Office suite
