Dealership Accountant

Based in our flagship site in Alexandria the primary responsibility of this key position is to monitor and manage all things finance in relation to this key operation.  Surrounded by a supported and energetic team, you will be reporting to the Financial General Manager of Finance based in our Corporate office. You are an individual with a natural positive disposition  who takes pride in the day to day co-ordination, management and reporting of financial and administrative aspects of the site, whilst ensuring our compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

Your previous experience in a similar role will see you continue to enhance operations by using your expertise and innovative mindset, channelling new ways of working in order to enhance efficiencies and productivity.

• Experience within a dealership environment is essential
• Relevant Accounting qualification

Day to day responsibilities/tasks:

• Collating and reporting sales numbers / targets relevant to site
• Ensuring the dealership adheres to financial obligations and works within policy frameworks (both internally and externally)
• Maintain an accurate set of accounts
• Production of monthly results in accordance with schedule
• Produce (and at times present) accurate financial reports and reconciliations within agreed timelines
• Prepare detailed budgets and monitor all costs and payments
• Assist the General Manager Finance with overall admin relating to site
