The ICH’s mission is to build an international, collaborative research and training hub in healthcare communication to improve patient safety and the quality of healthcare practice around the world. ICH is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Deputy Director of ICH to work with ICH Director Professor Diana Slade and the ICH team.
The successful applicant would have a PhD or equivalent experience in health communication translation research and will carry out independent and team-based research. The successful applicant needs extensive experience in management of an academic unit and will have a key role in high-level administration of the ICH and its strategic direction to maximise sustainability and research impact. They will need to be dynamic, flexible, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to regularly travel as needed between NSW, ACT and Victoria to perform site-based research and outreach.
