People are at the heart of our success, and we have a current opportunity for a Digital Manager with a focus on Social Media, to play a key role in the execution of the overarching Ampol Digital Strategy (Social, Search, Mapping and Website).
The role includes strategic development, content planning and development, marketing campaign support, media planning and recommendation, and performance reporting.
This is an 18 month max term contract, joining our existing team in Alexandria (Sydney) NSW, with hybrid work options on offer.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute the Digital Strategy (Social, Search, Mapping and Website), including overarching approach, objectives, channel strategy and, tone of voice for Ampol social media campaigns & channels
- Content planning and calendar development for the Foodary Australia and Ampol Australia social media channels (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube)
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to plan and develop content
- Manage always on digital marketing budget for social, search, mapping and website.
- Recommend and implement all ‘always on’ paid social media activity, including spend levels and targeting
About you
The successful candidate will have strong social media experience and ability to support digital campaigns. You will enjoy partnering with the business understanding the current climate and social media needs.
Key skills and experience:
- 8+ years experience as a Digital specialist with Social Media strategy experience, ideally within established consumer brands
- Extensive experience in Social Media campaign planning and management tools, including Facebook Business Manager
- Experience in content development/production
- Experience in briefing and managing agencies and other third parties
- Experience with social media listening/monitoring tools, such as Social Sprout
- Proven strategic thinking and marketing expertise
- Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
