Sting is Australia's leading Boxing and Fitness brand whose growth has seen major development of its digital presence in the last 12 months and is now requiring a Digital Marketing Manager to support our growth.
Our international footprint and world renowned reputation as a brand whose quality comes first will provide you with an opportunity to directly develop the brand across all channels. You will be responsible for Sting's digital strategies and go to market plan that will dictate the future of our e-commerce and overall digital success. You will be reporting to the CEO and will manage our Digital Marketing and e-commerce strategy across all channels through a small Digital Marketing team based in Derrimut, Melbourne You will be responsible for the Digital Marketing P&L across Australia, UK, USA and Germany.
About you
You will have a passion for Digital Marketing and fitness/active lifestyle. You are a proven marketer who thrives in a high paced environment and has covered both D2C and B2B. You possess a creative and strategic mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively in a cross-functional team and independently. You have a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude. You will lead and motivate a small team and will have an active voice and participation in helping to evolve this brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage multi-channel marketing and e-commerce plan across all digital channels
- Develop and manage P&L of Digital Marketing department
- Lead and motivate a small team to achieve key objectives
- Manage and liaise with agency partners to achieve key KPI for SEO, SEM and Omni Channels
- Develop digital and CRM strategies to enhance customer engagement and experience
- Develop and successfully implement annual marketing calendrer to achieve key marketing and e-commerce objectives
- Manager marketing partnerships with key retailer partners and sporting federations
- Forge new and enhance current relationships with our sponsored athletes, teams and events
- Oversee content creation plan to make sure it is in line with our overall marketing strategy
- Brand management -Manage creating copy and social plans for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok.
- Manager inhouse digital team and agencies to optimizing website performance
- Devising social strategies to drive growth, engagement, and sales for our e-Com channels and our Marketplaces based on data and insights
- Manage influencer and customer loyalty program
- Reporting & analysis – tracking success metrics and utilizing data to adapt, modify, enhance current and future work
Skills and experience
You will have direct experience in developing a brand's digital roadmap through marketing activities. As a fitness brand, our industry moves quickly and you are someone who is adaptable and loves to have fun whilst researching trends in the marketplace and taking action. You are a leader who can lead by example and will motivate their team to achieve individual and group targets.
- You have a minimum of 6 years experience in a Digital Marketing, social media and/or e-commerce management role
- Strong leadership, management and organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of all areas of Digital Marketing, social media marketing and e-commerce.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify and Omni channel marketing will be a big plus.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is desirable but not essential
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to tight deadlines
