Your new role
An opportunity has opened up for an experienced drafting professional to join the team in a key leadership role as Drafting Team Leader. This critical role will see the successful applicant being responsible for the following duties
- Overseeing the "day to day" management of a team of 5 drafters (mix of internal and external resources)
- Overseeing the teams' performance in line with delivering projects in timeframes and accuracy levels
- Working with team to create templates for masters and ensuring drawings and specs are regularly updated in central libraries
- Oversee and manage workflow allocations
- Develop and upskill teams technically where required
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this opportunity it will be expected you possess the following skills and experience
- Previous people leadership role in a major builder environment is advantageous
- Strong technical drafting background
- Advanced ArchiCAD skills
- Excellent knowledge of Building codes / Rescode - small lot housing experience ideal
- Be able to create and lead high-performance teams with regard to productivity and culture
