As an Easement Officer, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:
- Lead Easement Maintenance to ensure it is completed to agreed commitments and requirements.
- Ensure all Work Health and Safety obligations of field staff and contractors are met and a safety assurance program for contractors is fully committed to and performed.
- Contribute to the development implementation and management plan to ensure timely and economical maintenance and management of Powerlink’s easements.
- Contribute to the education and provision of specialist advice in aspects of land use management including vegetation management, erosion control and land use to ensure Powerlink staff, contractors and property owners are provided with accurate and timely information.
- Certificate 3 or equivalent in any of the following:
- Arboriculture or,
- Horticulture or,
- Conservation and Land Management.
Civil experience including access track maintenance, erosion/sediment control and relevant legislation would be an advantage.
