JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the entire email process for our marketing clients including, but not limited to onboarding/migrations, content calendar creation for email and SMS, copywriting, styleguides, campaign building, campaign execution and proofing, advanced automated flow set-up, list growth through both paid and organic methods, list cleaning, advanced segmentation and personalisation, collection of first/second/third party data from apps, and email deliverability
  • Own the customer lifecycle communication strategy for our clients that includes third-party apps in addition to email automation within Klaviyo (shipping notifications, quizzes, reviews and loyalty programs etc.)
  • Ability to deliver A/B and ‘hold out’ testing
  • Ability to lead a small team, make sure deadlines are hit, and train junior team members in industry best practices
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email and regular video calls to adjust the content calendar, strategise on next month’s email tasks and report on email performance
  • Regularly analyze and report on email performance, then suggest and deliver improvements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a talented Team Leader to head up our eCommerce Email Marketing department at LION Digital, and to completely own client relationships and performance. Your main duties include running Email Marketing campaigns end-to-end, creating cohesive customer journey’s through marketing automations (directly in Klaviyo and also through third-party apps), growing email lists through organic and paid methods, and managing the email team.

The position is remote/full-time hours required (40 hours per week), and you must be located in Australia and have the right to work here.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

REQUIREMENTS
  • 4+ years in a digital marketing role with strong CRM experience
  • Proven experience in creating revenue from email campaigns and marketing automation through Klaviyo or other ESP, for B2C or DTC ecommerce brands. Either within an agency or as a freelancer
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
  • A creative and resilient thinker who can pivot and perform under pressure
  • A “figure it out” attitude is essential as we often create marketing automation that’s outside the box and you will need to gather requirements as you build
  • Experience with Google Analytics and marketing performance management is essential
  • Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Canva, Photoshop, is desirable
  • Knowledge of Shopify and Shopify app integrations is highly advantagous
  • Clear communication both written and verbal for gathering requirements from clients and briefing the internal team
