We are looking for a diligent person with a proven track record of success in delivering the allocated tasks and responsibilities to join our Parramatta team in the Education Consultant/ Admissions Officer position. 

Purpose of the role

An Education Consultant / Admissions Officer is the first point of contact for our clients. As a highly valued position vital to our ongoing success, we seek industry experts who can deal with our clients with confidence and empathy.  Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist international students effectively to facilitate admission into Australian Universities, RTOs, and Colleges, keeping in mind their career progression and GTE requirements.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the institution, its course offerings, entry requirements, and GTE requirements. 
• Providing guidance to international students onshore and offshore about taking a new course or changing their course.
• Follow up on all leads and inquiries in a timely manner and maximise the number of applications submitted and finalise enrolment to achieve set targets.
• Create and maintain accurate client information in the company's CRM system and ensure accuracy in data entry and file notes in CRM.
• Use strong research skills to keep updated with industry information relating to student visas, new courses and university updates, international education industry regulations etc.
• Develop a vast network of students and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including student body associations, partners, and education providers.
• Create content and participate in marketing activities via social media to engage and build a prospective client base and take part in product training and assessment activities as directed.
• Act professionally always by practising responsible business ethics as per the Agent Code of Ethics.
• Continuously update your knowledge base through self-learning by employing research, logical reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
• Coordinating with other consultants, team leaders, operations managers to execute the processes and sales pipelines seamlessly.
• Manage the compliance requirements as per the applicable CRM system.

Skills and experience

• Fluency in a second language (Telugu, Gujarati) is preferred. 
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Collaborative and team player. 
• High level of problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Extensive product knowledge of the international education sector – in Australia and offshore (preferred).
• QEAC certification (desirable).
• Adequate knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code of Conduct.
• Ability to achieve organisational goals and meet targets promptly.
• Strong sales and customer service techniques.
• An energetic and creative personality with a 'can-do' attitude.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint as we all as Outlook and Internet skills.
