- The purpose of the role is to provide day to day support of clinical applications used by business areas across the Western Sydney Local Health District and Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, including but not limited to Cerner eMR; to identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to systems, processes and workflows aligned with Electronic Health Record (EHR) (incorporating the eMR and PAS).
- To provide second level support, daily maintenance and development of the system and related applications as part of Information Technology Services EHR Support Group.
- Demonstrated highly developed analytical and problem solving skills, with strong planning, time management and organisation skills and an ability to work outside normal business hours (if required), including on call support, and onsite support.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and negotiation skills including proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to develop and maintain documentation in both a technical and business context.
- Demonstrated highly developed customer engagement and support experience for delivery of excellent services to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to function as a self-motivated multi skilled analyst, working collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive proactive attitude, who can effectively work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated experience in software development and support processes i.e. issue investigation and resolution, testing, change control management and version control processes.
- Proven involvement in clinical information system implementation projects with demonstrated understanding of clinical business processes e.g. eMR, PAS, Outpatients, Inpatients, Emergency.
