Key Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling proposals, bookings, and agreements tailored to client specifications, driving sales and exceeding conversion targets.
- Proactively coordinate leads and inquiries, showcasing SkyPoint's unique offerings through client familiarization tours and site inspections.
- Collaborate closely with the Event Coordinator to execute flawless events based on client briefs, while maximizing upselling opportunities.
- Support invoicing, payment processing, and general event administration tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Provide comprehensive reports to the Sales Manager & General Manager, offering valuable insights and support in their absence.
- Maintain meticulous data integrity in event systems and databases, ensuring seamless coordination across internal departments.
- Identify and capitalize on sales and marketing opportunities through strategic market research and proactive client engagement.
- Contract and coordinate weddings from inception to completion.
- Ability to provide support to the Events Coordinator as needed during periods of increased business activity.
What our ideal candidate will bring:
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a high-volume conference/events environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of the event lifecycle from sales to execution.
- Outstanding communication skills, coupled with exceptional organizational abilities and a positive, energetic demeanour.
- Proven track record of delivering results under pressure and meeting competing deadlines with finesse.
- Flexibility to work weekends and attend events outside standard operating hours, as required during peak periods.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
