The Opportunity
As the Events Administration Officer you will facilitate events delivered in our local region. You will assist in the coordination of events training and executing the delivery of the East Gippsland Event Growth Action Plan. You will be a point of contact for the events unit for event permitting, and customer enquiries.
You'll take on:
- Assisting in the coordination of Events training programs
- Prepare invoices and purchase orders in line with business unit needs.
- Maintain the coordination, bookings use and care of a variety of events equipment.
- Act as a point of contact for the events unit and customer enquiries
This is a permanent part time role working 26.6 hours per week (0.7 FTE)
Things You're Proud Of (Key Selection Criteria)
- A good understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook software or similar.
- Relevant experience in general administration functions
- Sound administration skills and experience including well developed written communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to, and work within a team environment.
- Ability to manage a busy workload.
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Experience in liaising and working with the community and community groups.
- Demonstrate excellent customer experience skills.
- A current, valid Victorian Drivers licence.
If successful you will need to undertake a police check. You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
