A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate Executive Assistant, to provide support to the Former Governor of Victoria, in the Cabinet Office branch at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
This part-time position is ideal for an experienced Executive Assistant, with highly developed relationship management skills and strong attention to detail.
As the Executive Assistant you will provide high quality administrative and secretarial support to Members of the Victorian Independent Remuneration Tribunal, the Director of the Tribunal Secretariat and the Secretariat team.
The core duties of the role include providing high quality secretarial, administrative and research support, diary and meeting management, high-level stakeholder liaison and management of correspondence.
This part-time position is ideal for an experienced Executive Assistant, with highly developed relationship management skills and strong attention to detail. You will be a proactive self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision in a complex and sensitive environment.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong professional liaison skills and experience in communication, organisation and stakeholder relations. Experience as an Executive Assistant, particularly within Government, would be an advantage.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support services, preferably within a Government environment.
Sound knowledge of the processes, policies and procedures within government and understanding of public sector accountability.
Demonstrated experience in preparing briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and gramatically correct language.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to clearly and confidently communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Highly developed service excellence skills, with an ability to make clients and their needs a primary focus for maintaining satisfaction.
