BCP Group is a long-established company based in Busselton W.A. with operating divisions covering civil contracting, plant hire, sand extraction & supply, demolition and liquid waste.
The Role:
We are looking for an organised, action oriented and driven individual to provide support to our Managing Director. The ideal candidate for this role will have a “can do” positive attitude and be professional, polite and attentive. You will be prepared, responsive and willing to complete tasks set and return high quality, accurate and timely work output. You will enjoy a challenging and rewarding work environment and in return you will be supported by a strong and positive workplace culture and a dynamic group of colleagues. You must demonstrate that you are comfortable with technology, general office tasks and be able to excel at both verbal and written communication.
Full time or Part Time (minimum 30 hours per week) candidates will be considered, with scope for flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality executive and project management support to the Managing Director.
- Proactive diary and inbox management.
- Assisting with preparation of tenders.
- Anticipate the Managing Director's needs in advance of meetings.
- Coordinate management meetings including agendas and notes with actions and decisions.
- Research, prioritise and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Managing Director and recommend appropriate course of action.
- Ensure a high level of executive and stakeholder service is maintained through face-to face interactions, electronic communications and whilst representing BCP externally.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in construction and/or property would be highly regarded.
- At least five years’ experience in administration and Executive Assistant roles
- Qualification in Property or Business Administration or similar would be well regarded.
- Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and proactive quality control.
- Comfort with deadlines, multi-tasking, and working under pressure.
- Have the ability to exercise initiative and judgement in a diverse range of situations and be able to problem solve under pressure.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills and the ability to develop lasting and authentic working relationships at all levels.
