About the role
The role reports to the Director Infrastructure and Environment and is responsible for supporting the executive who oversee the Directorate.
You’ll provide high level administrative support, playing a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations, effective communication and the success of key initiatives for the Infrastructure and Environment Directorate.
In this role, you will undertake duties such as:
- Coordinate and manage complex diary and correspondence
- Manage preparation of Council Reports, Briefing Notes and other presentations
- Administer purchase orders, credit card reconciliations and record keeping activities
- Provide front-line customer service to both internal and external customers
- Work on interesting special projects as required
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar level role
- Exceptional time management and confidentiality skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite as well as other modern systems
- Extensive administrative and customer service experience
- A positive, solutions-focussed attitude with high attention to detail
