About the Role
The Hume Rural Health Alliance (HRHA) joint venture is aimed at meeting the growing Health Services needs of the region. The emergence of this alliance also reflects the national and global trends in government investment focused upon delivering patient centred information systems which drive efficiencies and improvement in patient care.
The Executive Assistant position is responsible for providing executive and administrative support to ensure that commitments of the Chief Information Officer, HRHA and HRHA Board are effectively and reliably carried out. This involves:
- Being a role model for values-based communication and engagement
- Keeping focused on strategic priorities of HRHA
- Ensuring efficient business systems and administrative processes are in place to support the Chief Information Officer and Senior leadership of HRHA
- Contributing to the promotion of a healthy work environment
- Flexibility to change working hours to suit meetings and other commitments
- Excellent interpersonal skills, high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
- Relevant qualifications in administration and/or extensive experience in providing Executive support and assistance at a senior level.
- Demonstrated experience and highly effective use of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Outlook software as well as Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated written communication skills with high attention to detail including experience with preparing and reviewing a range of reports and papers.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
