The Planning and Land Use Services Directorate within the Department for Trade and Investment manages the planning and land use system for South Australia. This includes planning, building and development, architecture, design and land use to grow our economy and create more vibrant places for our communities.
The Role:
The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for the provision of a high-level executive, administrative and business support function to their relevant Director within Planning and Land Use Services (PLUS), which contributes to the efficient and effective management of the organisation. The role is supervised by the Team Leader, Business Support. Successful completion of required work will involve the application of appropriate initiate and judgement, and the need to work efficiently and effectively.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Proven experience in providing executive support services, including telephone screening, diary and email management, meeting agenda and the preparation of papers and travel coordination.
- Experience in the provision of executive support services including preparation of meeting documentation and minute taking.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and versatility of approach in dealing with changing work requirements, new information and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, manage time and priorities, including planning, organising, coordinating and progressing concurrent priorities and projects to meet objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial accounts and processing of purchase orders and invoices.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with a track record of effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders at executive and operational levels, including coordinating and influencing others to achieve time critical and sensitive work to meet Departmental and Minister's objectives
- Sound written and verbal communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience with JIRA workflow Management Tool.
- Experience in using Basware.
Special Conditions
Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
Remuneration:
AS03 - $66,590 - $70,968
