About the opportunity
An important role which reports directly to the CEO and is a valued member of the executive team. Reflections are seeking an accomplished and strategic Executive Manager to lead their Government and Corporate Communications.
This pivotal role focusses on developing and executing tailored, strategic communication plans that enhances the organisation's reputation with government, corporate and community stakeholders. The leader contributes significantly to business growth through cultivating and maintaining healthy government relations at local, regional and national levels.
Additional key elements of the position include:
Overseeing media relations activities including press releases, media briefings and responses to enquiries
Developing and implementing crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate reputational risks, and
Ensuring effective internal communication by developing and implementing strategies that supports whole of organisation engagement.
About you
Skilled in media and public relations
Proven experience in a senior role in government relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field
Strong understanding of government processes, policies, and Corporate communication principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Crisis management experience and the ability to respond effectively under pressure
Familiarity with media relations and experience in dealing with the press
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team, and
A minimum of bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, political science, business or a related field.
