We are growing and looking for experienced Collectors to join our Commercial Recoveries team!

Established in 2012, Complete Credit Solutions is an Australian-owned and operated business specialising in the acquisition and servicing of consumer accounts, including credit cards, personal loans, and car finance.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity that is based in Parramatta CBD.
The main responsibilities and duties of the Commercial Recoveries Officer will include (but is not limited to):
- Conducting effective debt collection activities on assigned business customer accounts.
- Initiating contact with customers through various communication channels to facilitate payment and negotiate suitable payment arrangements.
- Utilising skip tracing techniques and tools to locate and establish contact with customers.
- Interacting with customers in a professional and empathetic manner taking into account their unique circumstances, to negotiate the best possible outcome.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as legal teams or customer support, to address complex cases and escalate issues when necessary.
- Adhering strictly to legal and regulatory requirements governing debt collection activities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of collections activities, ensuring proper documentation of interactions and outcomes.
- Identifying and promptly escalating potential compliance risks.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in debt collection, recoveries or a related role. In addition, you will have:
- Previous experience working in a collection’s agency, financial institution or similar
- Familiarity with debt collection laws, regulations and compliance standards is highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Empathy and customer focus
- Ability to convey complex financial information clearly and persuasively
- Knowledge of skip-tracing techniques
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit reports
