To contribute to this success, they are looking to recruit a Facilities Manager based in their large automated facility in Sydney's West (Parramatta).
The Role
Reporting through to the Engineering Manager and sitting in the Engineering Team you will be responsible for:
- Managing the site assets and service management, delivering quality asset management, maintenance, service, and improved life cycle value for the business in line with the FM strategy.
- Managing the requirements of the site FM contractor services performance in facilities management, technical procurement, project management and engineering disciplines.
- Review & update service contracts and maintenance schedules.
- Conceptualise and implement lean initiatives that result in cost savings.
- Manage safety inductions of contractors on site.
In order to be successful for this role you will be;
- Trade qualification, mechanical or electrical and/or tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- Ideally at least five years’ experience in maintenance or a food manufacturing environment. Prior facilities management experience beneficial.
- Strong stakeholder management working cross functionally both with internal and strategic partners.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Positively aligned toward working to strong health and safety standards and practices.
