Seeking a diligent Finance Office Administrator for a successful agribusiness

This position is with a horticultural agribusiness that values environmental sustainability and diversity. The company, one of the largest plantations in Australia, is located near Innisfail in Far North Queensland. Join this industry leader and contribute to their success as their full-time Office Administrator.
Your new role
In the role of Finance/Office Administrator, you will be part of a vibrant and collaborative environment, providing crucial administrative and financial support to the Senior Executive Team and daily operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of administrative and financial management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for all office accounting including accounts payable, receivable, invoicing and banking
Input and management of the general ledger system including reconciliation of accounts
Work Cover: Manage work cover claims as and when needed
Manage all aspects of payroll including timesheet data, weekly payroll and employee entitlements
Work closely with Management on financial reporting, including monthly performance reports
Liaising with external accountants to assist with financial reporting
What you'll need to succeed
This position calls for a dedicated and professional individual with substantial experience in administration and finance. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively is crucial.
The candidate should have:
Sound business acumen and proficient in Microsoft: Word and Excel and MYOB
Experience in general accounting and reporting functions, preparing reconciliations, and contributing to business process improvement
Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify and resolve problems
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
A strong motivation to learn and expand knowledge within the role is also essential.
