About the Organisation:
Bloom (a recruitment company) is exclusively recruiting this newly created position for a Client of ours, that operates in the Energy sector.
A medium enterprise, they been in operation for over 8 years, have a national presence and continue to grow, exponentially. Internaitonally they have recently secured contracts for a few house hold names to take on their services which is leading to many new roles being created.
About the Role:
As Finance Officer, you will work alongside and report into the finance manager. Your role will encompass a diverse array of transactional finance duties, spanning reconciliations, inter-company transactions, accounts payable and receivable, BAS, month-end reporting, and closure activities for multiple entities within the organisation.
This role is permanent, full time and is based in Stapylton.
About You:
We're seeking candidates with 3-5 years of experience in roles such as Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or potentially Assistant Accountant, positioned at the early stage of their career journey.
Ideally, you will possess robust experience in small to medium enterprise environments, coupled with familiarity in managing transactions.
Proficiency in finance functions is essential, with prior exposure to MYOB, Xero, or similar software platforms.
Strong Excel skills are a prerequisite
Given the requirement for extensive interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, the ability to cultivate relationships and exhibit effective communication skills will be critical to excelling in this position.
