Weeroona offers flexible services for people with a disability and their families in the Gympie region. Founded in 1989, we offer direct support, support coordination and facilitate group activities.
We are seeking a Client Support Officer (Facilitator) to join our team to conduct our support worker rostering and provide exceptional customer service to our participants with disabilities and their families.

About the role:
You will be responsible for:
Developing effective, respectful working relationships with individuals, families and businesses to develop responsive support options.
Developing and implementing Individual Support Plans / Service Agreements for new participants or existing.
Training, supporting and educating Support Workers to ensure services provided are to Weeroona and the NDIS standards.
Engaging with Support Coordinators/Participants to ensure service provision is correct and within the participant’s allocated NDIS funding.
Monitoring the rostering and scheduling of support workers to meet participant requirements (this includes backfilling of shifts).
** The successful applicant must be willing to participate in an on-call roster. This typically looks like one week on, one week off.

About you:
The essential requirements prior to starting in this role are a Disability Workers Screening Card, Working with Children Check Positive Notice Blue Card and completion of the NDIS worker modules, Quality, Safety and You and the Worker Induction.
You should have:
- Previous demonstrated experience working in the human or community services sector.
- A strong understanding of, or the ability to rapidly acquire an understanding of, the NDIS system including funding requirements.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong financial literacy skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
