Job Description

YOUR ROLE


The Finance Transformation Business Process Analyst plays a crucial role within the Finance Transformation function, embedded within core finance teams. Their primary responsibility is to support and implement sustainable process changes in the MACS office and schools environment. This involves drawing insights from process details, aligning them with business objectives, and identifying process improvements. They also structure extensive information into a process framework to drive ongoing enhancements for operational efficiency. Collaborating with business teams and the IT Department, they design new processes and troubleshoot process-related issues, including automation where possible. In essence, the Business Process Analyst contributes to the development and implementation of efficient, effective, and sustainable processes within the finance domain.


WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • Establish strategic relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to determine business needs and collect data for mapping Business Processes, ensuring maximum benefit delivery.

  • Analyse and map Business Processes and workflows, utilizing best practices to identify obstacles and define new process improvement opportunities that support continuous enhancement and business goals.

  • Offer guidance to stakeholders on ways to enhance efficiency and service to schools, promoting improved work practices.

  • Create visualizations and recommendations to address complex business issues, presented in an easily understandable format for the target audience's clarity.


ABOUT YOU



  • Relevant qualifications in Change Management, preferably In Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Analyst.

  • Experience in Hire to Retire, Procure to Pay, Record to Report and Invoice to Cash processes and reporting would be highly regarded.

  • Proven track record of successful Process Improvement.

  • Experience in customer-facing roles and executing process changes, along with a strong grasp of corporate finance and shared services practices.


This role is a 1.0 FTE two (2) years fixed term contract on a salary range of $105,000 - $115,500 per annum exclusive of superannuation.
