This role will be responsible for supporting the Financial Accounting Manager in managing the financial accounting and controlling for Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial transactions for the organisation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounting master data, including chart of accounts, cost centres, posting group setup and other financial data structures.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities.
- Maintain fixed asset records, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
- Submit monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting into the group's financial consolidation system.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and financial reports for audits.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Technical knowledge of accounting and practical application of accounting standards.
- ERP system experience is essential, Microsoft NAV advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills, including retrieving external data, summarising, filtering, pivoting, and presenting. PowerQuery/PowerPivot experience beneficial.
- Significant demonstrated experience working in an accounting role; minimum 3+ years like for like experience.
- Experience working for a subsidiary of a large multinational company.
- Experience in the Hearing Healthcare industry advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business or Commerce majoring in accounting, or similar.
- Progress towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent).
