The Role
As a Financial Analyst with our client, your role plays a crucial part in delivering accurate financial analysis for ongoing projects and potential investment opportunities. You will support the senior team's decision-making process by conducting meticulous research, optimising scenarios, and providing insightful analysis. Your responsibilities also include market research, opportunity screening, and fostering strong engagement with debt and equity stakeholders
Your responsibilities will include:
· Maintain operational project models, ensuring accuracy in data input and conducting forecasting/reforecasting in collaboration with Development Managers.
· Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure timely execution of monthly creditor payment runs.
· Monitor and evaluate active project investment performance for internal and external reporting.
· Conduct due diligence on prospective tenants/buyers and assist in preparing investor materials.
· Support the Investment Team in debt financing and private equity raising activities.
· Evaluate strategic optimisation initiatives and contribute to project equity capital calls and distributions.
· Benchmark comparable projects and compile relevant market information for analysis.
· Prepare periodic research reports as directed by senior management.
· Collaborate effectively within the organisation to improve internal processes and enhance the accuracy of analysis and research.
· Support business improvement initiatives such as marketing collateral and strategic business initiatives.
Skills and Experience required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Finance, economics, legal or related.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance, advisory, or commercial roles.
- Proficiency in Financial modeling.
- Passionate or experienced in the renewable energy sector a bonus.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Polished presentation skills.
- Attention to Detail and Quality Commitment.
- Align with organisational vision and develop strategies to communicate and embed goals.
- Remain composed under pressure and assist team members in managing stress.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders and establish high standards for service delivery.
- Demonstrate energy and initiative to achieve greater results.
- Approach problem-solving in a structured manner and make data-driven decisions.
