About the role:
The role is part of a collaborative team where you will contribute to the Financial Planning & Analysis and Pricing function of the organisation. If you are motivated by problem solving, applying your commercial acumen and directly influencing the financial future of the organisation, this role may be the right one for you.

Reporting to the Manager Corporate Performance, the Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist is directly responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the organisation through;

• Management and improvement of the enterprise long term financial plan and supporting tools.
• Focus on analysis and advice on organisation financial sustainability.
• Identification of opportunities to meet strategic goals through scenarios analysis.
• To ensure legislative and compliance reporting requirements are met.
• Management and improvement of financial models for pricing, revenue forecasting and budgeting, scenario analysis, and reporting.
• Managing and liaising with external consultants in respect of financial models for key business cases.
• Governing and providing assurance over the integrity and accuracy of internal business case financial models.
• Providing key support to the business in respect of revenue and pricing considerations.
• Providing ongoing training to staff in respect of financial modelling.
• Development of revenue price plans.

About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:

• To be successful you will have demonstrated Financial Planning and Analysis, modelling and investment evaluation skills;
• Possession of an Accounting/Commerce Degree from a recognised tertiary institution. Post graduate studies in Financial Planning would also be highly regarded;
• Membership of an appropriate professional organisation (CPA/CA qualified);
• Advanced level financial modelling skills;
• Relationship Building and Influence – the ability to build long term relationships with stakeholders and peers; 
• Written and verbal Communication – the ability to effectively present complex information clearly in written or verbal form.
