Food & Beverage Manager

A leading private members club located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches has an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Manager, who has a strong background in events, bar and outlet management.  To succeed in this role you will have a passion for providing outstanding member service and enjoy leading a team.   This is a hands on role with strong member engagement.

The ideal person will:

• Have at least 4 years’ experience as a Hospitality Manager
• Motivated to succeed and achieve results
• Have a good understanding of food and Australian wine
• Enjoy building rapport with members and be passionate about outstanding customer service
• Be adaptable to change and able to work within a dynamic environment
• Enjoy leading a small team including training, developing and managing HR matters
• Have a strong background in financial management and reporting as it relates to Events and Food & Beverage
• Set and achieve set KPIs with financial and service related targets
• Be proactive in identifying new F&B initiatives that will build member engagement and increase usage of outlets
• Assist with developing and promoting events
• Strong computer literacy and POS skills
• Possess strong communication skills
• Be able to manage timeframes and be very capable
• Be flexible to work hours as required which includes weekends and whilst it is not essential to live locally please consider the location and travel time
• Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
