AsFood & Beverage Manager you will lead your own exciting team of professionals and take a hands on approach to create memorable experiences through stellar service and product.
You will also associate with world class local producers, like Jack’s Creek Beef and be involved in maintaining and curating our 3 Glass rated wine list in Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards.
Here's what you'll do:
- Curate an unforgettable and personalised experience for our guests from start to finish
- Oversee and maintain quality, sales & service in our restaurant, bar & conferencing
- Ensure products and services being delivered are consistently of the highest quality with ongoing improvement
- Lead, inspire and develop an exceptional team of hospitality professionals
- Nurture the team and provide a fun and energetic environment in which they can thrive alongside you
- Coach the F&B team to uphold service and quality standards
- Continue to enhance the loyal relationships with guests and locals to promote repeated clientele
- Maximise and identify opportunities to sell products & experiences that suit the needs of our guests
- Management of financial cost measures including beverage and wage costs
- Maintain & grow our 3 Glass rated wine list & assist in menu planning.
- Create rosters, order product & complete stocktaking in line with yearly budgets
This is how you’ll know you’re right for this role:
- Previous F&B management or supervisor experience
- Enjoy a hands on approach to management & service
- Demonstrated financial acumen in relation to running a profitable restaurant
- Sound understanding of & ability to complete back of house operations including stock takes, COG's and rostering
- An understanding of Conference & Event sales & service
- A genuine love & knowledge of great food and wine
- Ability to lead a team to success and develop those coming up in the industry
- A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature.
